Cascade celebrates 15 years of success!

Cascade was founded in 1992 and is about to celebrate 15 years as a leading HRP Solutions provider. The company has seen many changes in this time not least of all changes of ownership.

The company was founded by Alan Jones and soon after Dan Edwards, Heather Bioangiu and Richard Anderson joined the company as employees in the mid nineties. After many years as employees Dan, Heather and Richard invested in the business to become shareholder Directors, Richard most recently in 2006.

Throughout our history we have seen a lot of change, from the technology that we use to develop our systems through to employees and the HR and Payroll industry and its requirements. Most recently, since 2004, there has been a desire for accessible, browser based .Net solutions which offer flexible, pro active, easy to use and accessible solutions for HR professionals. Cascade released their .Net HR solution in 2004, some years before the vast majority of its competitors and this has seen Cascade establish itself as the leading supplier of .Net HR systems in the UK. Another key requirement is a single supplier, integrated Payroll and HR solution. Cascade recognised this and offer our own, rather than partnered and rebadged, Payroll solution.

Of course as well as technology we have seen changes in our employees. With extremely low staff turnover many of our employees have joined us in their early twenties and we have watched them develop as professionals and embrace change in their own lives, much to the pleasure of our Managing Director, Alan Jones. Alan comments ‘Whilst it is important that Cascade is successful and that our clients are happy it gives me a lot of satisfaction to see people who we employ develop and benefit from our success. We have celebrated many marriages, births and birthdays and other events over the last 15 years and the vast majority of the staff we have employed are still with us, working towards a common goal’.

With a successful past behind us Cascade are now looking towards the future where there are some exciting developments planned for the next 5 years. Richard Anderson, Sales Director, said ‘2008 will be an an exciting year. The fantastic response we have had to our solution both from existing and new clients has given us confidence to invest further in the business and we will move into our new, custom designed, offices in Leeds in quarter 2 of 2008. We will also recruit more staff taking our total number closer to 40 as well as releasing new functionality to our clients. We are also investing in spreading our message to HR Professionals through our website and other activities including a custom built stand for CIPD June 2008 at the Olympia.

We enter 2008 with a huge amount of interest on our solutions and anticipate new contracts in quarter 1 of 2008 which will ensure success next year beyond even the amazing success for 2007.
